Our Holiday Camps
The staff here at KVCC run holiday camps every school holidays. If you have a child aged anywhere from 7 to 13 years old who may be interested in coming to one of our camps, the following information will be helpful to you.

Every school holidays here at KVCC we run holiday camps. If you are interested in being a leader at one of these camps, please contact us.
WHAT HAPPENS AT HOLIDAY CAMPS?
A typical holiday camp might involve the camp activities, fun sports, indoor and outdoor games, some free time, canteen, and chapel times. Chapel times with singing, interaction and devotional talks are on a non-denominational Christian basis. A statement of faith is available on request.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING
Warm clothes, swimming togs, insect repellent, plastic bag (for dirty washing), raincoat, sandshoes/sneakers, sleeping bag, towels, pocket money (for canteen), old clothes, toilet gear, gumboots, pillow, sunscreen.
Optional - Bible, concert item, musical instruments & skates or skateboard.
WHAT YOU SHOULD NOT BRING
Cigarettes, matches, alcohol, illegal drugs, walkmans, cell phones, ghetto blasters, calculator games or knives.
We do reserve the right to search bags if necessary.
TRANSPORT:
Directions: Approaching Thames, turn right into Bank Street opposite the Toyota Car Factory and proceed five kilometres to where camp is clearly seen. Looking for a map?
Please Drop Off and Pick Up your child within half an hour of camp start and finish times as staff will not be available outside these times.
Arriving by bus? Please book your own bus tickets to and from Thames. Buses will be met in Thames if requested.
NOTE: Registration AUTOMATICALLY books camper - We will contact you only if camp is full.
