About the Managers:
A Little bout Us!
Kauaeranga Valley Christian Camp’s Internship is run by the Managers of Kauaeranga Valley Christian Camp; Phil and Sheli Taylor. The Taylor’s have been working in Ministry for their entire married life, and well before that. They met in New Zealand (Sheli from Canada, Phil from NZ) at a Christian Army Course where they received their Christian Ministry and Evangelism Certificates. Phil went on to explore training in Kinesiology and Teaching, as Sheli Directed Camp in Southland, NZ. They have just returned to New Zealand from 7 years in Canada where they worked with Youth for Christ and Christian Camping in Alberta and BC.
Phil and Sheli have enjoyed working in Camping Ministry in New Zealand and Canada and continue to see God transform the lives of people of all ages as he reveals his LIFE changing message of Hope and Salvation to everyone he encounters.
They are both extremely passionate about Discipleship in an emotionally healthy, Holy Spirit filled way as they walk with people while God transforms them by the renewing of their minds, enabling their Spirits, and completing the work He has started in each incredible, unique son or daughter for His glory and the establishment of His Word in their lives. They enjoy exploring who God is and embrace the mystery of being still with him. They are both confident teachers and facilitators and enjoy bringing the word of the Lord in their own vunerable, authentic walk with Jesus.
The Taylors Live at Kauaeranga Valley Christian Camp with their two children; Alzora and Jedi, and their cat T-REX.
