Welcome to Kauaeranga Valley Christian Camp
What our guests say . . .
"In March 2017 we decided to head up the Kauaeranga Valley for our senior school camp where we stayed at the Kauaeranga Valley Christian Camp. We had 70 children and 20 adults. David and Sue, the camp managers, were wonderful hosts. The pre-camp meeting was informative and we were shown around the grounds and facilities. The food was amazing and it was great to be able to have all dietary requirements catered for. Nothing was ever a hassle and they bent over backwards to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The facilities were very clean and well kept and the activities they had at camp were excellent and the children thoroughly enjoyed all of them. The use of the big indoor gym was a lifesaver (due to wet weather). We thoroughly enjoyed our camp and would highly recommend it to anyone, particularly school groups." Netherton School, Waikato, 2017
"KVCC is an awesome experience for groups who aspire to develop team building, improve overall well-being and enhance their appreciation for Thames beautiful environment. One of the most important aspects for us was the respect all staff had towards our religious practices. It was great to see KVCC cater to our Islamic special character by providing a prayer space for us, giving us the food we are allowed to eat and by giving us space to enjoy the grounds on our own without male intervention. This really meant a lot to us all and we appreciate your awesome hospitality. Thank you all so much." Zayed College, 2017
"The KVCC is a fantastic camp that provides a range of authentic, safe and challenging experiences for its campers. Every day our campers were presented with new and fun activities. It is a beautifully maintained camp surrounded by picturesque landscapes. Our students absolutely loved their stay – and didn't want to leave. We were really impressed with how our hosts put our campers first, were so accommodating, well-meaning and friendly – they made sure our stay was one to remember!" Whitikahu School, 2017
