At KVCC we strive to create an unforgettable camp experience. With new themes each camp, we create new opportunities and adventures for campers to enjoy. We love hanging out with campers during the holidays to give them new opportunities to grow, new challenges to overcome and an environment to cultivate new friends.
Upcoming Holiday Camp SUMMER CAMP 2026
BACK TO THE NINETIES!- A KVCC DAY CAMP
Date: 13-17 JULY, 2026
MONDAY TO FRIDAY- 8.30 TO 4.30PM EACH DAY
School Years: 3-8 or Ages 7-13
$40/Day or $180/for all 5 days*
Choose to come for the entire week or just days your child needs care.
Gates Open at 830am. (Please do not come before that. If you need to drop off earlier, please organize it with Sheli at programme@kvcc.org.nz)
Use second entrance to drive through and sign in. Campers will be given a team colour at sign in and then head to the gym to join their team leaders, drop off bags and use the toilet. *Please make sure your camper has medications with them. The medications may be given to their Team Leaders like inhalers or epipens. All other Medications will be handed in to our first aid person.
Whats included? Everything your child needs for the Day;
-Food - 90s style! Morning Tea, Lunch and Afternoon Tea
-Activities; outdoor and indoor activities to challenge campers in skills, opportunity and team building
-Care by amazing Leaders
-WIDE Games
-Crafts
-Fireside food
-Music and Fun Biblical Lessons!
What does your DAY CAMPER need to bring?
-Please wear clothes that are not expensive or dear; including jewlery, shoes or hats etc
-Backpack to carry everything
-Weather appropriate gear; ie wet weather, warm, hat etc
-Extra change of clothes - Some activities may be dirty!! Please name everything.
-Gum boots, extra socks
-Togs and Towel-if weather is nice enough for water slide
-Waterbottle
-Medications-inhalers, epipens, or medications needed to take during lunchtime
What NOT to Bring:
-Nice clothes, shoes etc-things get lost or dirty!
-Energy drinks, lollies, vapes
-Tech-phones, tablets, fancy watches etc
-Bad attitudes; bullying, negative- We want EVERYONE to feel welcome and loved at camp!

*Whats the real cost for Day Camp?
At KVCC we try and make camp as affordable to everyone. However, the actual costs of running camp far outweights the amount we charge for campers. The actual cost of a camper for 5 days is $330/week or $66/day. If you feel that you can afford the actual cost of camp, you are welcome to opt in to that. If you would like to pay the subsidised amount instead, please do that. We want Camp to be a blessing to our communities during the holidays and be the best place for campers to be. If you are still needing funding for your camper with the subsidised amount, please let us know. We never want finances to hinder the ability for campers to be at camp. - Thank you!

Need Financial Aid?
Seeing children come to camp and have fun during the school holidays is what we are passionate about. We never want a child to miss out on camp due to financial issues.
There are two options for financial aid:
1) See if you are OSCAR approved.
2) Contact our staff to see if we can help get your camper to camp.
Our camp is OSCAR Approved, if you would like to know if you qualify for OSCAR Funding, head to their website here : Out of School Care and Recreation (OSCAR) Subsidy - Work and Income
If you do not qualify for OSCAR funding, email: programme@kvcc.org.nz to enquire about sponsorship from other camp parents who have donated money for children to come to camp.
If money is the problem it's no problem at all for us!
